Mole National Park conserves an area of relatively flat Savannah, and is the largest game reserve in Ghana.  More than 90 mammal species and 300 bird species have been recorded in Mole.  There is thought to be about 800 elephants, we saw 5!!! Hippo, warthog, antelope, waterbuck, duiker and 5 primate species are also in large numbers.  We saw a group of about 15 baboons.
